About Me
My name is Mohamad Hafiz bin Yahaya. I was born in 1983 in Kedah. Now I live and work in Perak. I’m a visual artist that work in various medium and technique in fine art practice like paintings, sculpture, digital media and installation. My idea in creating artworks always relate to my surrounding. As we live in this world right now, everything that happen is all about relate to our life. For visual artist all info from surrounding can be the input to develop idea for artworks.
For me, the visual arts practice includes ideas that assist in the creation process of artworks. The artist applies individual practices by controlling the presentation of artworks as a source of knowledge. Hence images and ideas that are produced have the capacity to not just change the artist 'perspective towards reality, it also influences the audience's perception towards certain artworks. According to Leo Tolstoy, art is a human activity that has in it individual awareness which refers to exterior signs of input, then sends them to other individuals, whilst the other individuals get influenced by this feeling and are infected by it.
